What will you change in 2022? (Five ideas on how to do things differently this year)
It’s the start of a new year!
That means it is time to review what you are doing. It is time to re-think how you are selling print.
Why is it so important to change things?
Firstly, what you were doing a couple of years ago often doesn’t work. Most importantly, if you keep on practising the same old strategies you will encounter the law of diminishing returns. No matter how good the strategies, they always become slightly less effective the longer you keep doing them. That’s why it is so important to bring new ideas into the mix.
What should you do differently this year?
There is no one size fits all answer to this. However, here are five ideas for new sales tactics:
Start up a company-wide referral scheme
People trust their networks. Everyone in your company knows a potential client. Therefore everyone should be a sales person and be rewarded for it
Create more case studies about your clients and share them
It’s important that your prospects and customers understand the results that you achieve for others
Have a getting to know you call with a social media connection
Done well, this is a powerful way to turn an engaged social media connection into a customer, a referrer or a useful resource
Measure the click throughs on marketing e-mail
Follow them up personally
Have a monthly personal review
